Nitin Tanwar is the principal behind Green Phoenix Capital Ltd. A graduate of the Engineering Center for Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, Nitin started his career with Cargill Corporation's European Power, Gas and Emissions Trading business in London. He subsequently founded and successfully exited, two start-ups in the digital space, CaliforniaCarbon.info and Regent Climate Connect Knowledge Solutions Private Limited. While CaliforniaCarbon.info provides data, information and forecasts on the carbon markets in the US, Climate Connect Technologies pioneered applying Artificial Intelligence to renewable power plants and distribution utilities in India. CaliforniaCarbon.info is now part of cKinetics group in Palo Alto, California, USA while Regent Climate Connect Knowledge Solutions Private Limited is now part of Renew Energy Global Plc, a NASDAQ listed company.
